Closing the Opening

Using a yarn needle, thread the tail through the front loop of each of the 8 stitches from the last round, pull tight to close, and hide the end inside the head.

Do not stuff the ears. Make 1 chain for turning, then crochet both sides of the ear together with 9 sc. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
