Materials You’ll Need

For Both Versions:

• Yarn:
  • Main color (for the bag body) – 20g (plush) or 40g (fur)
  • Secondary color (for the inner ears/mouth) – 5g (WOLANS BUNNY BABY in nude)
  • Small amounts of black & white yarn (YamArt JEANS) for facial details
• Crochet Hooks:
  • 4.0mm (for the bag)
  • 1.5mm (for tiny teeth)
• Other Supplies:
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors
  • Long needle for sewing
  • 10mm glue-on nose (or 9–11mm)
  • B-7000 glue
  • Lighter (for securing ends)
  • Optional: Dry pastels for blush

Here’s a quick cheat sheet for the stitches used:

• ch = chain
• sc = single crochet
• sl st = slip stitch
• inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• dec = decrease (sc2tog)
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• BLO = back loop only
• FLO = front loop only

• Plush version: 8 x 9 cm
• Fur version: 10 x 11 cm

Step-by-Step Crochet Pattern

1. Crocheting the Ears (Make 2)

(Start with the nude yarn for the inner ear.)

1. Row 1: Ch 6. Starting from the 2nd ch from the hook: 4 sc, 3 sc in the last ch, then work along the opposite side: 4 sc. Switch to the main color on the last sc. Ch 1, turn. (11 sts)
2. Row 2: 4 sc, inc, inc dc, inc, 4 sc. (14 sts)
3. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

2. Front of the Bag

(Start with nude yarn for the inner mouth.)

1. Row 1: Ch 6. From the 2nd ch: inc, 3 sc, 4 sc in the last ch, then work the opposite side: 3 sc, inc. (14 sts)
2. Row 2: 2 inc, 3 sc, 4 inc, 3 sc, 2 inc. (22 sts)
3. Row 3: (sc, inc)2, 3 sc, (sc, inc)4, 3 sc, (sc, inc)*2. (30 sts)
4. Row 4: (4 sc, inc)*6. (36 sts)
5. Row 5: 36 sl st. (36 sts)
6. Switch to the main color.

3. Back of the Bag

(Use the main color only.)

1. Repeat Rows 1–4 from the front.
2. Row 5: (5 sc, inc)*6. (42 sts)

Assembly & Finishing

1. Attach the Ears

• Plush version: Sew to the wrong side, 4 sc apart from the loop.
• Fur version: Sew to the right side (fur facing out).

2. Join the Front & Back

• Plush: Place wrong sides together, sl st 30 stitches across (ear to ear).
• Fur: Place right sides together (fur inside), sew shut.

3. Add the Strap

• Sl st into the side, chain 120 (or desired length), sl st to the other side.

4. Embellish the Face

• Teeth: With 1.5mm hook & white yarn, ch 21, then work tiny slip stitches.
• Smile: Embroider with black yarn.
• Nose: Glue on the 10mm nose.
• Blush (optional): Dab on pastel pink for cute cheeks!
