Final Details and Finishing
Facial Sculpting
To give the bear a cute expression, use a needle and strong thread to pull the face inward:
- Run thread from the chin (between R8 and R9) up to the post of the first safety eye.
- Pull gently to create a dimple, then go back down to the chin.
- Repeat the process for the second eye.
Embroidery and Decorations
- Eyes: Embroider white semi-circles above the safety eyes to create “eye whites.”
- Nose: Cut a small brown fabric oval (approx 1.5cm x 2cm). Sew around the edge with a running stitch, stuff lightly, and sew it onto round 3 of the muzzle.
- Mouth: Use brown yarn to embroider a small “V” or “Y” shape below the nose.
- Brows: Create a small chain of 4 stitches and sew them above the eyes on round 6.
- Finishing Touches: Embroider a decorative cross-stitch seam on the top of the head and attach the satin ribbon around the neck.
