Materials

Simple Crochet Coaster Pattern
Follow this easy, round-by-round guide to create your coaster.

Round 1
Start with a magic circle. Ch 2, then work 10 DC into the magic circle. Join with a sl st to the first DC. (10 sts)
Round 2
Ch 1, then work 2 SC in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the first SC. (20 sts)
Round 3
Ch 2. *Work 2 DC in the first stitch, Ch 1, and skip the next stitch.* Repeat the sequence between the asterisks (*) all the way around. Join with a sl st. (20 sts)
Round 4
Ch 2. *Work 1 DC in the first st, Ch 1, skip a stitch. Then, work 2 DC into the chain-1 space (the hole) from the previous round. Finally, work 1 DC in the next stitch.* Repeat this sequence around. Join with a sl st. (40 sts)
Round 5
Ch 1. *Work 1 SC in the first st, followed by 2 SC in the next st. Then, work 1 SC in each of the next 2 sts.* Repeat this sequence around. Join with a sl st to the first SC. (50 sts)
Assembly and Finishing
Fasten off your yarn, leaving a short tail. Using your yarn needle, carefully weave in all loose ends to secure your work. Trim any excess yarn for a clean, finished look.
