Legs (Make 2)
We make the legs one at a time. The second leg will connect directly to the body.
First Leg:
- Rnd 1: Mc, 8 sc in circle.
[8] - Rnd 2: Inc in each st around.
[16] - Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times.
[24] - Rnd 4-7: Sc in each st around for 4 rounds.
[24]per round. - Rnd 8: (1 sc, dec) repeat 8 times.
[16] - 📌 Stuff the foot lightly now.
- Rnd 9: Dec 8 times around.
[8] - Rnd 10-24: Sc in each st around for 15 rounds.
[8]per round. (This creates the long, unstuffed leg). - Rnd 25: (3 sc, inc) repeat 2 times.
[10] - Rnd 26: (4 sc, inc) repeat 2 times.
[12] - Rnd 27: (5 sc, inc) repeat 2 times.
[14] - Rnd 28: (6 sc, inc) repeat 2 times.
[16] - Rnd 29: (7 sc, inc) repeat 2 times.
[18] - Rnd 30: Sc in each st around.
[18] - Rnd 31: (8 sc, inc) repeat 2 times.
[20] - Rnd 32: Sc in each st around.
[20] - Fasten off, leaving a very long tail for sewing. You will use this to sew the gap between the legs later.
Second Leg:
- Work exactly as the first leg from Rnd 1 to Rnd 32.
- Do NOT fasten off. You will continue crocheting from this leg to form the body.

Body and Head
Now we connect the legs and build upwards!
- With the second leg still on your hook, you will now work stitches around both leg openings to join them. You should have a total of 40 stitches (20 from each leg).
- Rnd 1-3: Sc in each stitch around for 3 rounds.
[40]per round. - Rnd 4: (9 sc, inc) repeat 4 times.
[44] - Rnd 5-9: Sc in each stitch around for 5 rounds.
[44]per round. - Rnd 10: (9 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[40] - Rnd 11-12: Sc in each stitch around for 2 rounds.
[40]per round. - Rnd 13: (8 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[36] - Rnd 14: (7 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[32] - Rnd 15: (6 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[28] - Rnd 16: (5 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[24] - Rnd 17: (4 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[20] - Rnd 18: (3 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.
[16] - 📌 Attaching the Arms: In the next round, you will crochet the arms directly onto the body. Position them symmetrically. The front should have 1 sc between where the arms attach. Each arm is attached using 5 sc.
- Rnd 19: 5 sc, work 5 sc across the opening of one arm, 1 sc, work 5 sc across the opening of the second arm.

[32] - Rnd 25: (3 sc, inc) repeat 8 times.
[40] - Rnd 26-31: Sc in each stitch around for 6 rounds.
[40]per round. - 📌 Add the Safety Eye: Between Rnd 32 and 33, on the left side of the face, attach the 35mm safety eye. Secure it well.
- 📌 Start stuffing the head firmly now. Continue stuffing as you work the final rounds.
- Rnd 32: (8 sc, dec) repeat 4 times.

[30] - Rnd 35: Sc in each stitch around.

[12] - Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Thread your needle and weave the tail through the front loops of the remaining 12 stitches. Pull tightly to close the hole. Weave in the end.
