Materials:

Abbreviations:

  • ch – chain stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • inc – increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
  • dec – decrease (sc 2 together)
  • st – stitch
  • no inc/dec – work even (no changes)

Pattern Instructions:

Head:

  1. Magic ring, 6 sc.
  2. 6 inc = 12 sc.
  3. (1 sc, inc) x7 = 21 sc.
  4. (2 sc, inc) x7 = 28 sc.
  5. (3 sc, inc) x7 = 35 sc.
  6. (4 sc, inc) x7 = 42 sc.
  7. (5 sc, inc) x7 = 49 sc.
    8–18. 49 sc (11 rounds).
  8. (5 sc, dec) x7 = 42 sc.
  9. (4 sc, dec) x7 = 35 sc.
  10. (3 sc, dec) x7 = 28 sc.
  11. (2 sc, dec) x7 = 21 sc.
  12. 3 dec randomly = 18 sc.
  • Attach eyes between rounds 14–15, spaced 7 sc apart
