Materials Needed
Yarn:
- Gazzal Baby Cotton in:
- Lilac (3420) – main color
- White (3432)
- Small amount of orange
Other Supplies:
- 2.0 mm crochet hook
- Black embroidery thread
- Polyester stuffing
- Tapestry needle

Step-by-Step Instructions
Head (Lilac yarn)
- R1: 6 sc in MR
- R2: 6 inc = 12 sc
- R3: (1 sc, 1 inc)*6 = 18 sc
- R4: (2 sc, 1 inc)*6 = 24 sc
- R5: (3 sc, 1 inc)*6 = 30 sc
- R6-10: 30 sc
- R11: (3 sc, 1 dec)*6 = 24 sc
- R12-13: 24 sc
- Stuff firmly and close
Pencil Holder
- Ch 9 and join to form ring
- Work 8 sc in rounds until desired length
- Sew to bottom of head
Eyes (Make 2, White yarn)

- Leave long tail for sewing
- Embroider black pupils before attaching
Beak (Orange yarn)
- Embroider triangle between eyes

- Add beak between eyes
